Zhang Baichun, Fang Yibing Participated in the 11th IFToMM International Symposium on Science of Mechanisms and Machines-SYROM 2013　　

　　The 11th IFToMM International Symposium on Science of Mechanisms and Machines was held in Brasov, Romania on 11-12 Nov. 2013. Invited by the organizer, the Romanian Association for the Science of Mechanisms and Machines, Professor Zhang Baichun gave a plenary talk on “The Transmission of European Mechanical Knowledge into 17th-Century China” at the Opening ceremony of the symposium. Dr. Fang Yibing also contributed a talk on “Findings on Italian historical developments of Machine technology in 19th Century towards Industrial revolution” in one section of the symposium. The next two IFToMM PC Workshops on History of MMS, which will be held in Tianjin, China in 2014 and St.-Petersburg, Russia in 2015, were promoted during the symposium.
