Studies in the History of Natural Sciences is formerly known as Chinese Journal of History of Science published by the Research Department on the History of Natural Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1958. In 1982, Chinese Journal of History of Science was renamed Studies in the History of Natural Sciences. Its present editor-in-chief is Prof. Zou Dahai. It is the leading journal in the People’s Republic of China devoted to interdisciplinary studies in the history of science, technology and medicine. Cosponsored by the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences and the Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology, the journal is published quarterly. Contributions from all parts of the world are welcome, and all contributions—including articles, discussion, and book reviews, news of the profession—will appear either in English or Chinese.
