The Chinese Journal for the History of Science and Technology , formerly known as Chinese Historical Materials of Science and Technology (since 1980), is sponsored by the Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology and the IHNS. This journal is dedicated to studying the history of S&T in both pre-modern and modern China, laying equal stress on both academic excellence and the introduction of new sources. It also contains occasional articles on issues concerning the history of science in other countries that are closely related to China.
