Workshop on the Compilation of The Concise History of the Institutions of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)

From May 22nd to 26th in 2008, a workshop on the compilation of The Concise History of the Institutions of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was held in the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), CAS. More than 120 representatives from 92 institutions of the CAS participated in the conference. They discussed the problems occurred in the course of compilation. Moreover, they visited the historical exhibit of the CIAC. CAO Xiaoye, the director of the Executive Committee of History of the CAS and deputy-secretary general of the CAS, attended the workshop.
